Common questions
Why are your prices lower than an agency?
We're a two-person studio, not a 20-person agency — no account managers, no office overhead, and modern tools that make a clean, fast site quicker to build than it used to be. You're paying for the design and the build, not the layers around it.
Do your prices include GST?
Yes — every price on this site includes GST. The price you see is the price you pay. Many studios and platforms quote "+GST", which adds 15% on top, so check that when you're comparing quotes.
What can push the price up?
The ranges assume your words and photos are ready to go. Help writing copy or sourcing images, or a rush turnaround, adds a little on top — we'll include it in your quote. Try the website cost calculator for a range based on your own answers.
Is hosting included?
The build is a one-off price. Most clients add a hosting plan from $15/month so they never have to think about it again — hosting, DNS, SSL and backups, all sorted.
Will the site show up on Google?
Every site is built fast, mobile-friendly and with clean markup — the groundwork Google looks for. Ranking well for competitive searches is a separate, ongoing job; see our SEO services if that's what you need.
How long does it take?
Most brochure sites take 3–6 weeks from brief to launch. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback come back from your side, not the build itself.
