What matters
What a good cafe website does
Puts the menu first
Readable on a phone, with prices and dietary notes — vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free — so people can decide before they arrive.
Gets the hours right
Current opening hours, public holiday changes and seasonal closures. Nothing loses a customer faster than turning up to a locked door.
Makes booking easy
A table booking or function enquiry in a few taps, coming straight to you — not lost in a social media inbox.
Shows the place
Good photos of the food, the room and the view. People choose where to eat on how it looks, and whether it's the kind of place they're after.

FAQ
Common questions about cafe websites
How much does a cafe or restaurant website cost in NZ?
Our cafe sites start at $350 incl. GST, with a typical 5-page site around $500. A restaurant site with table bookings and function enquiries starts at $600, typically around $1,200. Every price includes GST — many quotes you'll see are "+GST", so add 15% to compare. For a range based on your own answers, try the website cost calculator.
Do I need a website if I have Facebook and Instagram?
Social pages are great for showing today's specials, but they're hard to search, change order constantly, and half your customers won't have an account. A website gives Google and visitors one reliable place for the menu, hours and how to book — and you can link your social pages from it.
Why not just upload my menu as a PDF?
PDF menus are slow to open on a phone, awkward to zoom, and Google can't read them as well as a normal page. A text menu loads instantly, shows up when people search for a dish near you, and is quick to update when prices or specials change.
Can customers book a table online?
Yes — either through a simple booking request form that comes to your inbox, or by linking in the booking system you already use so bookings land where your staff expect them.
Can I update the menu and specials myself?
Yes — you can change dishes, prices and specials without touching any code. If you'd rather not, a hosting plan covers hosting, security and backups, and changes are a quick email away.
Can I take online orders for pickup?
Yes — for a set menu or takeaway range we can add ordering with card payments and pickup times. See online shop websites, or get in touch for a fixed quote.
