Know someone who needs a website? Send them our way.
Your clients probably ask you now and then if you know a good web designer. If you'd like a local one to recommend, we'd love to be that name. We'll say thanks with $50 when their site goes live, and another $50 when their first year of hosting is paid.

Anyone whose clients trust them for advice and occasionally ask "do you know someone who does websites?" In practice that's usually:

You don't need to be in Golden Bay. We work across the Top of the South and further afield.

On our Site Care Plan, they ask for a change and we make it. They never have to log in to anything.

An easy switch if they already have a site.
If they're on Wix, Squarespace or another host, moving is free for most sites, and they pay nothing for hosting until their current plan runs out. Details on our plans page.

Not a US platform or a support queue.
Referred clients pay exactly the same as everyone else. Nothing is added to cover your referral fee.

Ask them to mention your name when they get in touch. Or, if it's easier, email us an introduction with both of you on the email.

We take it from there. We'll let you know when the site goes live and when you've got a payment coming.

Common questions
Do I need to sign up or sign anything?
No. If your client mentions your name, or you introduce them, that's the referral.
Will my client pay more because I referred them?
No. Referred clients pay the same prices as everyone else.
When do I get paid?
Within 14 days of us receiving the client's payment: once for the build, once for their first year of hosting, which is billed annually. We never pay out ahead of the client paying, which keeps the programme sustainable for a small studio.
What if my client doesn't go ahead?
Then nothing's owed either way. There's no obligation on you or them.
Is there a limit on how many people I can refer?
No.
What about GST?
$50, plus GST if you're GST-registered.
Do you only work locally?
We're based in Golden Bay and mostly work across the Top of the South, but we work with clients anywhere in New Zealand.
