No. The NZD prices on their pricing pages are before GST, and 15% is added when you pay. That's why the tables above gross them up: it's the figure you'll actually see on your bank statement.
Usually one of three things: GST is added at checkout, you're paying month to month (which costs noticeably more than paying yearly), or there are add-ons on the same bill such as a domain renewal or Google Workspace email. The free domain on Squarespace's annual plans only covers the first year; after that it renews at their standard rate.
They're a website builder and hosting in one subscription, so you can't take the hosting part elsewhere and keep the site. If your site is already built and you mostly want it kept online and up to date, that's what our plans cover, without the builder subscription.
